ALAPPUZHA: At a time when the CPM members criticise Governor Arif Mohammad Khan left and right, the party’s female MLA U Prathibha heaped praise on him. The MLA showered praise on him during a function held at the Chettikulangara Higher Secondary School. She also lauded his attire.

'The governor behaves lovingly with everyone. He treats everyone with special care. When mentioned about the bad health of Chettikulangara panchayat president Sudhakara Kurup, the governor came to him from the dais and enquired about his health. Although the political views are different, the Governor's behaviour is exemplary. His enthusiasm to learn Malayalam and his love for Kerala’s costume is notable,’ said Pratibha. The governor expressed his gratitude to Pratibha with a smile.

Governor inaugurated the Navathi celebrations of the school. Minister V Sivankutty was invited to the function but he failed to appear. He informed his inconvenience to the school authorities. Pratibha said the minister did not come due to some political issues in the capital city.
