HARIPAD: Three including the owner of the auditorium was injured in a scuffle that broke out for not serving papadam in the marriage sadya. The incident happened Sunday afternoon at an auditorium in Muttam near Haripad in Alappuzha.

Some of the groom’s friends demanded more papadam. The issue started when the servers refused to give more papadams and this led to a major scuffle. They clashed with the chairs and tables of the auditorium. The auditorium owner Muraleedharan (65), Johan (21) and Hari (21) sustained injuries in the clash. The Kareelakulangara police registered a case in the incident.
