THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested 15 people as part of the state-wide Operation P-Hunt, a drive devised to curb sexual violence against children and child pornography in the state.

280 teams under the leadership of district police chiefs carried out inspections at 656 centers. 279 devices, including mobile phone, modems, hard disk, memory cards, laptops and computers, were seized. Such offences are punishable with imprisonment of up to five years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.
