CHENNAI: 23-year-old youth has been arrested for stealing a bike since he did not want to travel on a bus every day. The accused has been identified as Chennai Nerkundram native Parthasarathy. He stole the bike on August 14.

The accused Parthasarathy has been arrested based on a complaint filed by 40-year-old Dinesh, who runs a shop in Spencer Plaza. The bike was stolen from the vehicle parking area of ​​the shop. The police identified him after checking several CCTV footages. He stated that he stole the bike because he didn't want to travel by bus every day.

The police had instructed Parthasarathy, a murder accused to visit Annai Salai police station every day and sign in. Parthasarathy traveled for hours from Nerkundram to Annai Salai in order to reach the station. So he decided to stole the bike to make his travel easier.
