THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: On Wednesday, both the ruling and opposition parties supported the government's immediate action on two issues that were pointed out by Kerala Kaumudi. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan announced the 'Raksha project' in the Legislative Assembly based on the Kerala Kaumudi report of increased drug use in schools and colleges. CM said this while replying to the urgent motion notice given by P C Vishnunath MLA.
Kerala Kaumudi report also paved the way for measures to recover the lost four and a half acres of land belonging to the national award-winning playback singer Nanjiyamma from the encroachers. When K K Rema raised the issue, Revenue Minister K K Rajan informed that action will be taken.
