THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister Veena George said that an administrative approval of Rs 29 crore has been given for the development of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The funds were sanctioned for modern hospital equipment, surgical equipment for various departments, books and e-journal. A master plan of Rs 717.29 crore has been envisaged for the overall development of the medical college. The first phase activities has been completed. Next phase is construction of building. The minister also stated that money has been sanctioned for providing more facilities in the medical college apart from the amount allotted for masterplan.
