KOCHI: A LKG student escaped with minor injuries after she fell down on a busy road from a moving school bus. The accident was averted due to the sudden braking of the bus that came behind. The shocking incident happened in Aluva. The girl fell from the bus through the emergency door. The accident took place in the bus of Alhind School at Vazhungattusseri in Aluva. Faisa, daughter of Yusuf, a native of Aluva, met with the accident.

The locals said that no one knew the child falling down from the bus. The locals who saw the girl falling took her from the road. The bus stopped after their intervention. Seeing that there was no serious injury, the child continued her journey in the bus. Meantime, the child's relatives came forward with the complaint that the school authorities did not take necessary steps to provide first aid to their daughter or take her to the hospital. The family said the child was brought to the hospital after she developed uneasiness and there were also injuries and swelling on her body. The family has approached the police on the matter.
