AHMEDABAD: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Friday promised to waive farmers' loans upto Rs 2 lakh if ​​his party comes to power in Gujarat. He was addressing the farmers during his two-day visit to Dwarka district in connection with the assembly elections to be held later this year in Gujarat.


Kejriwal also assured the farmers of free electricity for 12 hours a day, better support prices for agricultural crops and compensation of Rs 20,000 per acre in case of crop damage.


Kejriwal said that if the Aam Aadmi Party comes to power, it will scrap the current land survey and commission a new one, and increase the command area of ​​the Narmada dam to extend its benefits to every corner of the state.


He said that he is ready to solve the woes of the farmers who were neglected by all the previous governments in Gujarat. He added that the AAP is continuously moving forward with the blessings of the poor.


Reacting strongly against the BJP and the Congress, Kejriwal said that if people want to get power and free education, they should vote for them and voting for others will result in corruption and misrule.

Arvind Kejriwal has made many promises during his visits to BJP-ruled Gujarat in the last few months, including free education, free electricity up to 300 units per month, Rs 3000 as unemployment wages, 10 lakh government jobs and Rs 10,000 per month for women.
