THRISSUR: A railway employee died after being hit by a train during track inspection at Pottur. The deceased is Pramod Kumar,a keyman. The incident took place between Vadakancherry and Poonkunnam on Sunday at 8.30 am. While inspection the track Pramod saw the train coming and moved to the second track. At the same time, a MEMU train which came along this track hit him. Pramod Kumar was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital but his life could not be saved.
