THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Bharat Jodo Padayatra, led by Rahul Gandhi for the comeback of the Congress by intensifying its struggle against the BJP, will start from Kanyakumari tomorrow evening. Following the Yatra, the Congress will go into organizational elections. The question among the ranks is whether Rahul will take the post of president again after the yatra. However, Rahul and the Nehru family are repeating that they will not contest.
Meanwhile, the Congress has started a consensus move at the national level regarding the post of President. Senior leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Galot held talks with G-23 leaders Dr Shashi Tharoor and Bhupinder Singh Hooda. AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal responded to the media that anyone can contest in the organizational elections.
Rahul to reach Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow
Rahul Gandhi will reach Thiruvananthapuram at 12 noon tomorrow to go to Kanyakumari to participate in the Padayatra. He will reach Thiruvananthapuram by flight from Chennai and will go to Kanyakumari by helicopter.
