THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has allocated Rs 100 crore to the KSRTC for payment of salaries. The payment is subject to the condition of single duty. KSRTC MD Biju Prabhakar has called for a meeting to discuss the matter. The meeting will be held at 3:30 pm.

The meeting of cluster officials will be held at the KSRTC headquarters. The KSRTC employees are hoping that the salary distribution will be completed on Tuesday. The chief minister had assured in a discussion with the union leaders that the salary arrears would be cleared before Onam. The finance department has been instructed to take steps to provide the money to the employees on Tuesday.
