BENGALURU: A Youth Congress leader on Tuesday came up with a different type of protest in a waterlogged area in the rain-soaked city of Bengaluru. Congress leader Mohammed Haris Nalappad was seen floating on an inflated rubber tube on a waterlogged road as a protest against the Karnataka government demanding a solution to the waterlogging issue in the city. Earlier, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had blamed the previous Congress government for the current state of the flood-hit Bengaluru city. This was followed by the protest by Mohammed Haris Nalapad.
Following the protest, Mohammed Haris was forcibly removed from the scene by the police. Mohammad Haris alleged that the BJP has turned Bengaluru, the country's major IT city, into a sinking city.
