PALAKKAD: In a dramatic incident, a woman, who was travelling on a scooter, chased down and intercepted an overspeeding bus for overtaking her scooter in an endangering way. The incident took place yesterday morning in Palakkad. 'Rajaprabha' bus, which runs on the Palakkad-Guruvayur route, overtook her vehicle in a dangerous way near Kootnadu Chalishery yesterday morning.

Sandra, a native of Perumannur, intercepted the bus near Chalissery. She alleged that the bus was travelling at a dangerous speed and it overtook her in an endangering way during the journey.

The woman, who said she made a narrow escape from a major accident, alleged that driver had earphones in his ears when he stopped the bus. A video of Sandra expressing her grievance to the bus driver has surfaced on social media. Palakkad RTO informed that they will investigate the incident.
