KOLLAM: More information are out in connection with the kidnapping of a 14-year-old boy following a dispute related to some financial dealings. The boy said the abductors drugged him and made him unconscious. The boy also revealed that after beating his sister, they dragged him along the road.

The boy's family had taken a loan of Rs 10 lakh from a relative. As it was not repaid, Biju, son of the family’s relative, gave quotation to get the money. Biju is a B Pharm student in Marthandam. He gave a quotation of Rs 1 lakh to kidnap the boy. The gang abducted the boy after two days of surveillance. Their objective was to kidnap the child and bring him to Marthandam in Tamil Nadu. There were nine people in the group. Though the other accused escaped, the police found the car in which they were traveling in. The Parassala police rescued the boy.
