KOZHIKODE: Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar said that he is not interested in accepting the D.Lit of Calicut University. The office of Kanthapuram has sent a letter to the Calicut University Vice-Chancellor in this regard. The letter demanded that Kanthapuram's name be excluded from the D.Lit discussions. The letter also stated that the ongoing discussions regarding D.Lit were not with the knowledge of Kanthapuram.

Earlier, a resolution was moved in the Calicut University Syndicate to award doctorates to Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar and Vellapally Natesan.
