DUBAI: Former skipper Virat Kohli scored his maiden T20I century and Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped five wickets as India defeated Afghanistan by 101 runs in its last match in the Asia Cup tournament.
Star Indian batter Virat Kohli completed his much-anticipated 71st international century and powered India to a massive 212/2 in their 20 overs during their last Super Four clash against Afghanistan at the ongoing Asia Cup 2022.
In reply to India's 212, Afghanistan managed to score only 111 for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the leading bowler for India with 5/4. Ashwin, Arshdeep and Hooda got one each and India finished their campaign on a winning note by 101 runs.
