MUMBAI: The Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup has been announced. Malayali player Sanju Samson could not find a place in the 15-member squad under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. There is no significant change even after the Indian squad despite the Asia Cup debacle.
Bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel have returned from injury to sharpen the Indian pace attack. Axar Patel has replaced Ravindra Jadeja, who is out of the team due to a knee injury. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have been retained in the team.
