AHMEDABAD: An autorickshaw driver on Monday invited Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for a dinner at his home in Ahmedabad. The autorickshaw driver invited Kejriwal, who is also the convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, while he was attending a rally of autorickshaw drivers in Ahmedabad as part of the campaign ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections.
In a video shared by the Aam Aadmi party, autorickshaw driver Vikram Dantani can be seen inviting Kejriwal to his home.
''Sir, I am your fan. In a video I saw on social media, you went to have dinner at the home of an auto driver in Punjab. Will you come to my home for dinner?'' Dantani asked.
Kejriwal, who accepted the invitation, asked the driver what time he should reach home and if the auto would come to his hotel to pick him up. He assured Dantani that he would come for dinner tonight at 8 pm along with two party workers.
