THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rahul Gandhi completed the second day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kerala on Monday. He interacted with several famous personalities and artists from social, cultural, literary and community fields and listened to their suggestions.

The crowd gathered yesterday during the Bharat Jodo Yatra was a testimony to the popularity of Rahul Gandhi. The yatra which ended at Nemom on Sunday night, resumed from Vellayani Junction at 7 am yesterday. KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, MM Hassan, K Muraleedharan, Shashi Tharoor and several other Congress leaders welcomed him. He paid respects to the statues of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and K Karunakaran at Karamana.

He had a brief meeting with senior leader AK Antony. He also visited Chattambi Swami's birthplace at Kannamoola at 4:30 pm. The yatra, which started from Ulloor Junction at 5 pm, ended at Kazhakootam. Workers from four constituencies of Pathanamthitta district also participated in the yatra yesterday.
