KILIMANOOR: A middle-aged man was found dead in his car in Kilimanoor. The deceased has been identified as Malayamadam native Sivan Pillai (47). He was found dead in his Eon car yesterday morning.

It was found that Sivan Pillai, a milk vendor, had cut the vein on his right foot. The preliminary conclusion is that it was a suicide. The police said that Sivan Pillai was facing financial difficulties.

Earlier, Sivan Pillai was a bar employee in Kilimanoor. He had sustained an injury on his right leg in an accident while in the Gulf. The wound did not heal. Therefore, Pillai could only travel by car. The old building near Aroor LPS, where Shivan Pillai and his family lived, was demolished to build a new house. The car was lying near it. It was some locals who found him dead inside the car. Relatives said that Shivan Pillai was suffering from depression due to financial difficulties.
