BAREILLY: In Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, an eight-month-old baby dies after her mother's phone put on charge exploded. This keypad mobile phone was bought six months ago. The mother Kusumam Kashyap kept the phone charging near the infant when it exploded. The baby was taken to the hospital with facial injuries, but his life could not be saved.
The family lives in Pachomi village under Faridpur police station limits. He and his family lived in a house without electricity connection. Solar system was used for lighting and phone charging. The accident happened last Sunday. At the time of the incident, only housewife Kusumam and her children were there at house. Kusumam's husband Sunil Kumar Kashyap, had gone to work.
After putting the eight-month-old baby to sleep, Kusum was engaged in other work. The phone was placed nearby for charging. When they heard the sound of the phone exploding, they rushed to see the bed where the baby was lying on fire. The police said that the family did not file a complaint in the incident and the accident was due to negligence.
