KOCHI: The High Court has issued a crucial directive amid the rampant stray dog menace in the state. People should not take the law into their own hands by killing stray dogs. The court also stated that the government should issue instructions clarifying this. The High Court issued the directive after holding a special sitting on the stray dog attacks in the state. The court said that if aggressive dogs are found, they should be relocated. The court, which said that the government has an obligation to protect the citizens from dog attacks, directed the government to inform about the steps taken in this regard the day after tomorrow.
