HARIPAD: The police arrested the accused who were absconding in the case of attacking a youth for not giving beef fry. The arrested are Vishnu alias Kuliru Vishnu, 29 of Karthikapally Vishnu Bhavanam and Adarsh (30) of Pilappuzha Valiya Thekkathil.

Vishnu (26) of Karthikapally Puthukundam Erumappuram Kizhakkathil was beaten up when he was going home after buying beef fry from a thattukada near Haripad Marutha Mukku. Kuliru Vishnu and Adarsh, who came in a car, stopped Vishnu and demanded money and when he said that he had no money, they tried to grab the beef fry he had in his hand. When he stopped them, they attacked him. Vishnu who was beaten up sought treatment at Haripad Taluk Hospital. Police said that those arrested are accused in several cases.

A team led by Haripad SHO Shyam Kumar, sub inspector Girish, CPO Naushad, Anish and Nishad arrested the accused.
