THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police found the girl among the minor siblings who went missing from Ernakulam. The police found the 15-year-old girl from Thampanoor railway station with her male friend Thursday morning. The police hinted that the girl was sitting in the train to go to another place with her male friend from Palode in Thiruvananthapuram, whom she met via Instagram. The girl's 13-year-old brother had returned home yesterday.

The siblings left home at 11 Tuesday morning saying that they were going to Thrissur. However, their phones were later found switched off. When both the students failed to reach home, their mother lodged a complaint with the Munambam police. The girl is studying in Thrissur.

The police found the girl by locating the mobile phone tower location. CCTV visuals of her arrival in Thiruvananthapuram was also obtained. Following that, the investigation was intensified. Though it was found that they reached Varkala yesterday early morning, the police could not get any information later as their phones were switched off. When the range was found in Thiruvananthapuram, the search was intensified and the girl was found.
