PAZHAYANGADI: A house was a big dream for Renjitha, who had to move out of her ancestral house for contesting the election as BJP candidate. Her dream became a reality today morning at 8 am, when actor and former MP, Suresh Gopi, handed over the keys to her home in a function. In the last Panchayath election, Renjitha, had contested on BJP ticket from Athiyadom.
Renjitha secured 138 votes from 10th ward of Athiyadom, which is a strong hold of the CPI(M). After this, she was forced to leave her ancestral house with her 3 year old daughter. Interestingly, her own mother has a share in the ancestral house.
After being ousted from her ancestral house, she moved to a rented house with the help of other BJP workers. It was Renjith, a BJP leader, who took the initiative to bring the plight of Renjtha to the notice of Suresh Gopi. The former MP’s help led to her dream coming true.
