MALAPPURAM: Muslim League state president Sadiqali Shihab Thangal on Friday said that he will seek an explanation from KM Shaji for criticising the party in public. He also said that criticisms should be raised on the party platform.

"Criticism should be raised on the party platform. It is not right to criticise the party in public. I will talk about this as soon as Shaji returns from abroad. Criticism is natural in a working committee meeting," he said. Sadiqali Thangal added that Shaji did not call him after the meeting.

Earlier, Shaji had come out with a response to the criticism raised against him in the Working Committee meeting of the League.
