KOLLAM: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the ruling BJP and RSS are trying to concentrate the country's wealth in a few by spreading hatred and animosity in the country. He was speaking at a conference held at Karunagappally at the conclusion of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kollam district.

"The central government is also following the British strategy of dividing the country and looting its wealth. There is a connection between hate and progress. Similarly, there is a connection between BJP and hatred. Through BJP rule, the country's wealth is being concentrated among a few. The hatred fostered by BJP and RSS is a hindrance to the progress of the country. Just like quarrelling families go to ruin, a country where people quarrel with one another will also perish. If there is no harmony and unity in the country, there will be no progress. An Indian is the richest man in the world. Yet how did the country have the highest unemployment rate in the world? People are struggling due to rising prices. These industrialists are the companions of the rulers of the country. They control most of the industries in the country. The government wants to support only the super-rich.
Millions of people lose their jobs through the sale of public sector enterprises. These institutions end up in the hands of the super-rich," Rahul Gandhi said.
