THRISSUR: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan held a meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday. The meeting took place for about half an hour at the house of RSS worker Manikandan at Anakkallu in Thrissur at around 8 pm. Mohan Bhagwat has been in Thrissur for two days in connection with his Kerala visit.

The meeting between Arif Mohammad Khan and Mohan Bhagwat comes amid the governor's intensifying battle with the government. The CPM had taken the position that it should give a proper reply to the criticisms of the governor. The governor's meeting with Mohan Bhagwat comes amidst this.
