KOCHI: A court has granted bail to left-wing cyber activist PK Suresh, who was arrested for attacking police officials. It was the Alappuzha Magistrate Court that granted bail to Suresh. The prosecution had strongly opposed granting bail to Suresh.
According to the police, the accused, who came to the Aluva police station to inquire about a case related to a land deal, misbehaved with the police officers and physically assaulted the writer who was on duty.
However, Left cyber groups are alleging that the police officials of the Aluva DySP office framed PK Suresh in a false case and put him behind the bars. Following this, police arrested Suresh on five charges, including obstruction of official duties.
