KOCHI: In a major drug bust in the open sea, the Navy seized 200 kg of heroin from an Iranian vessel 1200 nautical miles off the coast of Kochi. Navy sources said that the drug was seized during an investigation conducted following a tip-off.

Six people, who are citizens of Iran and Pakistan, were arrested. The boat has been taken to Manjeri. The Navy said that the arrested and the intoxicants will be handed over to the Coastal Police.
