KOCHI: The forensic report has confirmed that the original voice in the voice samples submitted by director Balachandra Kumar to Crime Branch in conspiracy case, belongs to main accused Dileep and relatives. The forensic lab submitted the test results to the court stating that the voice samples are not fake and was not tampered. The investigation team received a copy of this.
Balachandra Kumar handed over 40 recordings copied on the tab. Some of this has come out. Dileep said in the interrogation that some of the voice samples were his own but the crucial samples were mimicry. A Crime Branch official told Kerala Kaumudi that the forensic report refutes all these statements.
Director Balachandra Kumar had repeated in his interrogation with Dileep that the voice samples on the tab were genuine and not tampered. On February 8, Dileep, his brother-in-law Suraj and his brother Anoop were brought to Kakkanad Chitranjali Studio and their voice samples were collected. The authenticity of recordings was confirmed by playing it to Manju Warrier and Dileep's close friends. After receiving the forensic report, the investigating team is more confident.
Balachandra Kumar's allegations were that Dileep had seen the footage of the actress assault and had conspired to kill the investigating officers. He also released some voice samples as proof of this. In an audio Dileep said that he got trapped by trying to help another woman and she should be punished instead of him. These audio recordings were proved genuine. The investigating team will submit this forensic result to the trial court.
