Excursions from schools should be in KSRTC bus. The actress said this via a Facebook post in connection with the death of nine after a tourist bus rammed into the rear of a KSRTC bus.

Excursions from schools, colleges and universities should be in KSRTC bus. It will not only help to prevent horrific accidents but will also help debt ridden KSRTC to generate extra revenue also.

I simply don’t understand why are private buses operating with flashy lights and sirens when we have strict motor-vehicle rules? My only plea to the government is that all schools/colleges/universities related excursions should be operated by government buses as this will deter further horrendous mishaps including generating extra revenue to our ailing KRSTCs.....what happened to the KTDC bus project which was inaugurated in 2018?
