THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Crucial information has come out in Venjaramoodu accident in which a man died after a speeding ambulance collided with a bike. According to reports, Amal, a male nurse, was driving the ambulance at the time of the accident.

The ambulance driver Vineeth forced Amal to drive the ambulance as he was feeling sleepy. The police have registered a case of causing death by negligence against them. The accident happened at 6.20 am. The ambulance was returning from Idukki.

The deceased is Shibu (36), of Palavila House in Venjarammoodu. His daughter Alamkritha was critically injured and is under treatment at Gokulam Medical College Hospital. The father and the daughter had stopped their bike roadside before entering into a nearby lab. The accident happened as the ambulance collided with the bike.
