IDUKKI: The man accused of murdering his relative, by stabbing him in his mouth with a rod, has been arrested. The arrested is Suresh, a relative of the murdered Ramesh (27), of Periyakudi in Marayoor. He was arrested during a search conducted by the police in the nearby forest. The brutal murder took place last night.

Both of them were drinking together yesterday evening. After that, there was a verbal argument between them. Suresh hit Ramesh on the head with a rod and killed him by inserting the rod into his mouth. Ramesh's body will soon be shifted to the medical college for post-mortem. The suspect is being interrogated.
