THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sreejith BT earned the title of 'Mr. Kerala Police' in the 85 kg category of bodybuilding contest. Sreejith is a police constable in KAP Second Battalion and was the winner in last year also. DGP Anil Kant inaugurated the 'Mr. Kerala Police 2022' Bodybuilding contest held at Gandhi Park in East Fort.

Many contestants from Kerala Police participated in the competition in various categories ranging from 55 kg to 90 kg. It was a difficult task for the judges to find the winners among the contestants. The crowd was also very supportive and continued cheering and clapping for their favorites. In the 90 kg category, Basith Anwar became the champion while Suraj Sugunan won the second position.

In the 85 kg category, Sreejith won the first position and Deepu won the second position. Akhil Nath and Jayaprakash bagged first and second positions in the 80 kg category. In the 75 kg category, Dhayal and Vijesh were the winners. Devanand won the first position and Sudev won the second position in 70 kg category. In the 65kg category, Shiju won the first place and Robin George won the second place. The first position in 60 kg category was secured by Snehalal and second position by Sandeep. In 55 kg category, Shibu bagged first followed by Vijith in second position.

Vigilance Director Manoj Abraham, Rural SP D Shilpa, Commissioner Sparjan Kumar and South Zone IG P ​​Prakash gave away the prizes to the winners.
