KANNUR: KPCC president K Sudhakaran came down heavily on chief minister's foreign trip. Sudhakaran alleged that the CPM did not get time to keep the body of Kodiyeri in the capital city for public homage due to chief minister's tour. Sudhakaran said Pinarayi, who was on the verge of tears, while speaking after the funeral, flew abroad within hours. Sudhakaran asked the CPM to explain about the crores spent on the chief minister's foreign trip and asked what Kerala got from this extravagance.

Sudhakaran asked whether any of the projects announced abroad have been implemented here and is hard to believe that the expenses of his family are borne by him. Sudhakaran also alleged that Pinarayi is finding a reason to go abroad. During the European visit, the chief minister and his team visited the tomb of Karl Marx and the statue of Gandhiji.

The chief minister will sign an agreement tomorrow at Cardiff University giving more employment opportunities to Malayali nurses. The chief minister is also holding a discussion with the Malayali business community on Tuesday.
