THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Film and serial actor Karyavattom Sasikumar passed away Monday morning. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital city. His first film was ‘Crime Branch’ released in 1989.

He has acted in almost twenty films including Devasuram, Chenkol, Mimics Parade, Adhyathe Kanmani etc. He had worked as the executive producer of the film Mayooranritham. His co-actors including Seema G Nair and Balaji Sarma condoled his demise.

Pranamam. Film and serial actor Karyavattom Sasi Chettan, programme co-ordinator, has passed away. He was undergoing treatment for illness at a private hospital in the capital city. He treated everyone with love, .a person who appreciated me in whatever I did. I was in Kattappana when I got a call from Manoj saying that ettan was not well. I was trying to collect funds for his treatment and had started posting for that yesterday. He was helpful to others. Without waiting for anyone's help, he has passed away. What to say, nothing.
