KYIV: The Indian Embassy in Kyiv has issued an advisory warning to Indian citizens in Ukraine after Russia intensified attacks. The advisory states that safety and security guidelines issued by the Ukrainian government and local authorities must be strictly followed. Also, Indian citizens should inform the Embassy about complete details including their place of residence and are advised to avoid non-essential travel to and within Ukraine.
At the same time, 17 people were killed in a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia, one of the main cities in Ukraine. 89 people were injured which included 10 children. 20 houses and 50 apartments were destroyed. 19 people were killed in a Russian attack in the area Last Thursday. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky informed through social media that the country was dealing with terrorists and had launched dozens of missile attacks. He said that their target is the energy facilities and the people of the country and requested that the people not to leave the shelters.
