Kerala Police has issued warning about loan app scams. Through the Facebook post, the police warns that falling prey to mobile apps which offers loans to settle small liabilities without any documents, may lead to loss of money and defamation. These apps attract customers by issuing loans only by providing KYC. The police warn that through this, the apps will be allowed to access all the information in the phone including the details of the people in contact list. If the loan defaults, they will call and threaten them, and it may even lead to the loss of the lives of the borrowers.
