PATHANAMTHITTA: It is reported that lottery seller Padma is among the two women sacrificed for a couple in Thiruvalla. As per initial reports, she was taken to the place in pretext of giving money and was beheaded. The body was then hacked into pieces. Padma is about 50-years-old and it is also said that she was kidnapped. But the police have not confirmed this.

Shafi, who lives on SRM Road, was arrested by the police in the incident. He is being interrogated. The details of the shocking murders were revealed during an investigation following a woman missing complaint. In the investigation conducted by the police based on the complaint, the phone signal was shown in Pathanamthitta. The body was found during further investigation.

Although the main suspect has been caught, it is believed that more people are involved in the incident. The police are not ready to reveal more information about the incident. The police informs that they have started an investigation and the accused will be arrested by evening.
