PATHANAMTHITTA: The remains of one of the victims of human sacrifice in Pathanamthitta have been recovered. The remains of Padma were found near the house of the accused Bhagawal Singh. The remains were found 50 metres away from the house. The body was buried in a bushy area adjacent to the house. During the interrogation conducted by the police, the accused described the exact place where the crime was committed. The search began after bringing the accused to the spot.

The City Police Commissioner himself confirmed that the remains of Padma, who went missing from Kadavanthra, were found. The body was cut into various pieces. More remains are yet to be discovered. Only after this is done the search for Rosli's dead body will begin. The accused have given a statement to the police that Rosli was buried next to the wall of Bhagawal Singh's house.

The locals sensed that something was wrong when the police took Bhagawal Singh and his wife Laila into custody last night. But it was this morning that the locals realized that the two had committed the murder. Many of the patients who were being treated by Bhagawal, a traditional therapist, have reached the spot.

It was two weeks ago that the police got the information that Bhagawal Singh had performed human sacrifices for financial prosperity. An investigation on this went on for two weeks and the person accused of murder were taken into custody after collecting clear evidence.
