KOCHI: While the information in the human sacrifice case is coming out, it is suspected that the sexual abuse case of a 75-year-old woman in Kolanchery, where Shafi is accused, is black magic. Co-accused Omana told a private channel that Shafi came to the house saying that he would help her in stopping her son’s drinking habit through pooja.

Shafi sexually abused the 75-year-old woman at Omana’s house in Pangode on August 1 in 2020. The old woman’s private parts were injured with a knife. Omana and her son were at home at the time of the incident.

Omana revealed that she was cheated. She said that her sister gave the number of Shafi saying that he was an astrologer.

Shafi demanded Omana to arrange a woman for him when he arrives from Pune with load of onions. When she did not get any woman, she took the old man with memory loss to Shafi. She was taken before Shafi after offering tobacco. Omana was also a lottery seller.
