PATHANAMTHITTA: More reports are coming out about other crimes committed by the main accused, Mohammad Shafi, in the human sacrifice case. He has given a statement that he had brought two girls to Bhagaval Singh’s house and raped them there. The investigating officers found this while questioning Bhagaval Singh and his wife Laila.

During the questioning, Bhagaval Singh and Laila revealed that Shafi had brought two girls living in a hostel near a prominent college in Kochi. When Shafi was drilled about this, he confessed to having brought them to Bhagaval Singh’s house and raped them there. In his statement, he says that another man was also involved in it.

Shafi runs a hotel near the Shenai’s Theater in Ernakulam. The police have found that Shafi used to lure women and girls in the city. He used to build up strong relations with these women and girls, enough to use them for his activities.
