COIMBATORE: It is alleged that a corporation employee had dumped garbage in front of a store in Coimbatore as revenge for not giving Diwali bonus. Usually, money was given during Diwali like a bonus, but this time it was not given which triggered the corporation employee. So, he dumped garbage in front of the electrical store owned by R James in RS Puram Ramachandran Street.

On October 4, a corporation employee who clears garbage visited James’ shop and asked to give Rs 500 as Diwali bonus. He quarrelled with James when he said that he would give the money on October 20 and asked to give the money then. Following this, when James came to open the store the next day, he noticed garbage being dumped in front of the store. He checked CCTV footage and came to know the corporation employee was behind this. James said that many shop owners had faced such bad experiences due to issues regarding giving bonus. He has filed a complaint against the employee in Coimbatore corporation.
