KOLLAM: A youth has been arrested for attacking a girl after barging into her house. The Eravipuram police arrested Shamnadh of Mayyanad. The youth barged into her house on Tuesday night for refusing his love.

The youth threatened and tried to inflict injuries on her with the blade he had in his hand. Following the incident, the girl’s relatives lodged a complaint. Shamnadh arrested is an accused in a murder case.

A girl was pushed to death in front of a moving train in Chennai yesterday. The girl was killed when she was returning home. The girl’s father had ended his life.
