ERNAKULAM:: The police on Friday conducted an inspection at the house of Muhammed Shafi, the main accused in the Elanthoor human sacrifice case. During the inspection, the police found that the Scorpio car in which the murdered women were brought to Elanthoor belonged to Shafi's son-in-law. The police team also recovered the gold pledge receipt, bank records, and vehicle records which are crucial in the case.
The inspection at Shafi's house lasted for six hours. Police conducted the inspection at Shafi's house as part of gathering more evidence related to the murder and financial transactions. They also inspected the restaurant run by Shafi in Ernakulam. The police interrogated all three accused together in the police club.
