PATHANAMTHITTA: The police team investigating the Elanthoor double human sacrifice case has found bloodstains in the room where the human sacrifice took place. The probe team has also obtained fingerprints of accused Muhammed Shafi in the room.
The probe team said that they found old and new bloodstains from the room while conducting an inspection to find out whether more murders were committed in the house. The police also found weapons that are believed to have been used by the accused for committing the murder. Three knives and a machete were found. The police believe that the fingerprints of the accused were imprinted on these weapons. The weapons were found in the healing center adjacent to the house.
Meanwhile, the probe team has concluded the inspections conducted at the spot using sniffer dogs. They found a bone fragment from the eastern side of Bhagwal Singh's house. It is not clear if the bone belongs to a human. A forensic team will examine it. The bone fragment was found near the spot where Rosly's body was found.
