PATHANAMTHITTA: Accused Laila has made a new revelation in the Elanthoor human sacrifice case. Laila revealed that she also cooked human flesh and ate it along with Muhammed Shafi, the first accused in the case. She also told the probe team that her husband Bhagwal Singh spat the meat without eating it.

Police are interrogating Laila. Earlier today, the probe team conducted a scientific examination at Bhagwal Singh's house to find out if more murders had taken place in the house. The police also recreated the crime using a dummy to find out how the murder and human sacrifice were carried out. In the interrogation that followed, Laila testified that she had cooked and eaten human flesh after the murders.

Police have found a bone fragment from the eastern side of Bhagwal Singh's house. It is not clear if the bone belongs to a human. A forensic team will examine it. The bone fragment was found near the spot where Rosly's body was found. The police carried out the inspection using specially trained sniffer dogs Maya and Murphy. The probe team also found old and fresh blood stains from the fridge inside Bhagwal Singh's house.
