PATHANAMTHITTA: Forensic information has surfaced in the human sacrifice case in Elanthoor. The preliminary conclusion of the forensic experts is that the organs were separated from the body of the victim Padma in a scientific manner. The organs were chopped off after understanding which joints can be easily separated from the human body. Experts said that only those who know the exact structure of the body can do this.

More than a knife was used for the crime. However, police do not believe that Bhagawal Singh and Laila, the second and third accused in the case, have the ability to chop off the organs in this way. The police said though the statement is that the first accused, Shafi, chopped the body into 56 pieces and cremated it, the police said this cannot be believed fully. When questioned about this, Shafi replied that he had worked in a mortuary.

The piece of wood with which they hit the women's head, the machete and the small knives were all recovered from the room the other day. Laila revealed to the police that Padma was chopped alive.

The police had made the accused say how they committed the crime by placing the dummy of Padma’s weight and length on the bed.
