KOCHI: Laila, co-accused in the human sacrifice case, made some crucial revelation against the main accused Mohammed Shafi. Laila told police that Shafi had committed a third murder and had sold human flesh.

Shafi told about the murder committed in Ernakulam a year ago. It was a time when they were thinking of the human sacrifice. Laila said Shafi told her about the crime and the flesh sold when they were sitting outside her house in Elanthoor.

However, Shafi's response was that the murder in Ernakulam was concocted to make Bhagawal Singh and Laila believe. Meantime, city police commissioner C H Nagaraju dismissed the propaganda that organ mafia was behind the human sacrifice. He clarified that organ transplant is not possible in an unhygienic situation. The commissioner also said that they will examine whether there are more victims of human sacrifice.
